About Frank Minssieux and Serge Dacic

Frank Minssieux is president and co-founder of TimingCube (TimingCube.com). He is responsible for the overall strategy and operations of the company, as well as research on the Timing Model. Frank Minssieux has more than 19 years of software engineering and software business experience at Fortune 500 corporations. He spent over 15 years with IBM, where he held various technical and managerial positions, both in Europe and the U.S. Minssieux has an M.S. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Dr. Serge Dacic is executive vice president and co-founder of TimingCube. He is responsible for strategy and the day-to-day operations of the company, as well as its information technology infrastructure. Serge Dacic has more than 14 years of software engineering and software business experience at Fortune 500 corporations. He spent nine years with Schlumberger, where he was a senior executive. Over the past four years, Dacic has served as the CTO of two mid-size startup firms, in which time he has developed an intimate understanding of Internet security technology and online collaboration. He has a PhD in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Frank Minssieux and Serge Dacic started collaborating and building the foundation for the TimingCube Model in 1992. Their interest in the markets stems from many years as part-time students and investors. Particularly interested in technical analysis, they leveraged their software engineering background to develop a Timing Model aimed at long-term investors, which offers higher performance potential, and requires little trading. With the basic concept of Trend Timing in place, Minssieux and Dacic teamed up to develop the formula for, and the mechanics of, the Timing Model. On June 18, 2001 they sent out their first signal, marking the start of TimingCube. They officially launched their site and offered the system to online subscribers in September of the same year.

About TimingCube

TimingCube is a  stock market timing system that relies on the Trend Timing Model to detect major trend changes in the broad market and to issue buy and sell signals, on the average of three to five times per year. They favor Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) or mutual funds that track major market indices such as the Nasdaq 100, Russell 2000 and S&P 500. They provide four investment strategies to match your personal style and risk tolerance, to make money in both up and down markets.

Manage Your Portfolio with the GetFolio.com Position Manager

There are quite a variety of investment newsletter services available to investors today, which achieve a decent track record. In reality, however, many newsletters have not translated well for most investors that subscribe to them. The reason? Money management. Without the proper position sizing using the right money management tool, you are only dealing with half the formula for success.

Let's face it: if there was one consistently successful investment newsletter, then the word would spread rapidly, and that one investment newsletter would have more customers than the population of China. The reality is that there has never been such a success. Why? Because in the final analysis, 8 out of 10 investors fail due to one simple reason: position sizing.

The majority of investors who subscribe to investment newsletters think that the process is as simple as "Just give me your recommendations and let me become as successful as you are". Unfortunately, as money managers know, entry points account for very little in the overall success of a portfolio. Find out why!
