Frank Minssieux and Serge Dacic started collaborating and building the
foundation for the TimingCube Model in 1992. Their
interest in the markets stems from many years as
part-time students and investors. Particularly
interested in technical analysis, they leveraged their
software engineering background to develop a Timing
Model aimed at long-term investors, which offers higher
performance potential, and requires little trading. With
the basic concept of Trend Timing in place, Minssieux
and Dacic teamed up to develop the formula for, and the
mechanics of, the Timing Model. On June 18, 2001 they
sent out their first signal, marking the start of TimingCube. They officially launched their site and
offered the system to online subscribers in September of
the same year.
TimingCube is a stock
market timing system that relies
on the Trend Timing Model to
detect major trend changes in
the broad market and to issue
buy and
sell signals, on the
average of three to five times
per year. They favor Exchange
Traded Funds (ETFs) or mutual
funds that track major market
indices such as the Nasdaq 100,
Russell 2000 and S&P 500. They
provide four investment
strategies to match your
personal style and risk
tolerance, to make money in both
up and down markets.
