About AlphaProfit Sector Investors' Newsletter

Subscribers to the AlphaProfit Sector Investors' Newsletter have access to model portfolios of Fidelity funds, constructed with the objective of outperforming the Dow Jones Wilshire 5000 Total Market Indexes, on a relative as well as a risk-adjusted basis. AlphaProfit evaluates Fidelity Select funds using the ValuM Investment Process metrics,  momentum, valuation, and news flow quality. The AlphaProfit model portfolios with aggressive growth and long-term capital appreciation objectives are constructed using funds with favorable outlook.

"Favored Buy" ratings are provided to help subscribers with their decision in investing in Fidelity Select funds either on an ad hoc basis or in adding incremental capital to specified funds held in the model portfolios. The AlphaProfit Sector Portfolio Indicator helps subscribers assess the timeliness of starting out or adding capital to track the Fidelity funds based on AlphaProfit model portfolios.

The AlphaProfit Sector Investors' Newsletter is published in three parts:

  • Indicator Updates by Noon (Central Time) on the first trading day of each month.

  • AlphaProfit Reports by Noon (Central Time) on the 12th day of each month.

  • Model Portfolio Repositioning Alerts after market close on the last trading day of June and December.

Manage Your Portfolio with the GetFolio.com Position Manager

There are quite a variety of investment newsletter services available to investors today, which achieve a decent track record. In reality, however, many newsletters have not translated well for most investors that subscribe to them. The reason? Money management. Without the proper position sizing using the right money management tool, you are only dealing with half the formula for success.

Let's face it: if there was one consistently successful investment newsletter, then the word would spread rapidly, and that one investment newsletter would have more customers than the population of China. The reality is that there has never been such a success. Why? Because in the final analysis, 8 out of 10 investors fail due to one simple reason: position sizing.

The majority of investors who subscribe to investment newsletters think that the process is as simple as "Just give me your recommendations and let me become as successful as you are". Unfortunately, as money managers know, entry points account for very little in the overall success of a portfolio. Find out why!
