Richard Young worked for Wall Street investment firms for 15 years after graduating from Babson College with a BS in investments. He started as a runner, and worked his way up to vice president of international services for Hoenig & Co. In 1977, Richard Young established Young Research & Publishing, Inc., as an independent financial services advisory service, and started publishing Young's World Money Forecast. In 1989, he founded Richard C. Young & Co. Ltd. to manage portfolios for substantial investors.
