Bowers is the editor of Fidelity
and chief investment strategist
of Weber Asset management, a
money management firm.
Jack Bowers has a degree in
Electrical Engineering from Washington State University.
He started Fidelity Monitor 20 years ago, drawing on his
personal interest in investing, computer modeling, and
desktop publishing -- outgrowths of eight years of
management experience at Hewlett-Packard. Jack Bowers
wanted to create a service that would simplify the task
of developing an investment game plan.
Fidelity Monitor is an
advisory service designed exclusively for Fidelity
mutual fund investors. Each of their five model
portfolios provides a diversified strategy for a
targeted rate of growth. Subscribers can select a model
portfolio, or a mix of models, and match the trades
Fidelity Monitor announces in their monthly issues.
Their goal is to maximize performance for the level of
risk involved, and provide an unbiased opinion for
investors who manage their own mutual fund accounts.
